I was unaware that this was a local coaches option. Everywhere I've worked, it's instituted or it's not. You don't say which ruleset you're using, so I'm not sure if this is correct for all.

But you would use the ITB in the first "extra" inning - whatever that means to you. In our league, that means after the 6th (local rules end games after 6)
