There is a practice test located online at
http://www.hcuasoftball.org/05fedtest.htm

This is primarily set for Florida High School umpires.
It is a good study for all who wish to try.

Email the author if you find any errors.

You better check with your association, the FHSAA test is Monday the 7th.
Did you go to a field clinic this year?
If not, come to Tampa, ours starts tomorrow and is the last one this year.

Send a message via ICQ to shipwreck
Same here. scored 90 and the ones I missed, I missed because I didn't take the time to read the whole question. Haven't looked at the rule book since last year. Dave

If you people find any errors, please email them to the email listed on the test page.
We put this thing together over a few evenings and might have made some mistakes.
We proofed it, but you know how it goes when you get tired of reading and typing, especially in html

I tried to find an official answer key... where is it, please?

Answer Key

The answer key is the rule book.
Check your answers with the rule book.
This quiz is self grading, with rule references built right in.

I can't imagine what else you are looking for other than that.

If I can help out with something. Be more specific

Wink

No, thanks. I just thought that if there was an official answer key, it would make it simple. But I should review the book and casebook anyway.

This was a great idea. Thanks for your hard work.

Nice test. Question 4 should be false. No more "about to receive".

Cool

ooops---
I meant Monday for our FHSAA test !!
We're having our local association field clinic
tomorrow morning at Ft.Myers HS, the team
is supposed to be there so we can get some
"game experience".
I'm not interested in play-off games beyond
districts at this end stage of my carrer, So
I'm passing on state field clinics.
Season starts next week with "early bird" games.
"PLAY BALL" !!

Obstruction "IS" called in these cases.
You read the question too quick.

Thanks for the input though

Red face Made some corrections

I made some corrections for typos and rule's refernces that were wrong.
I still don't think I made any mistakes with the answers though.

Thanks for those who have left feedback both here and by email.

I will try to do this again and make it better.

If you have a test from another code, and can send it to me.I will be glad to try and set it up for you.

Scott

I disagree, Scott. #78 S/B False. It may be true in ASA, but not FED.

#42 - if the FLEX bats, she can only bat for the DP, thus the DP (and FLEX) positions (roles?) are out of the game (terminated?). So why is the answer False?
