I work with people that think as soon as it's inbounded, then the timeout is granted. They designate the spot at the division line. I may have not used the proper term.

designated spot after a timeout
After a made basket,Team A inbounds from the end line(A1 to A2). Then Team A's coach ask for a timeout. Now where is the designated spot, End Line or The Division Line or the Point of Interruption.

blocked shot, with foul
A1 attempts a try, B5 leaps and swats ball out of bounds. Then B5 comes down almost on top of A1. I blow whistle and call a blocking foul with 2 shots.

A1 drives on a fast break, he goes airborne. 2 defenders on his heels, they go airborne with him.

Thanx BM, that help clarify the call for me. The refs must have it at Team B's
