Illinois changed the mechanic.

BJ - LJ under the uprights. R has K, U has R, HL around the ten with GL duty.

Not so sure about that. We talked about this as a crew (clinician is the crew chief) and we will have the R and the LJ under the uprights. The BJ will stay on the same position as to not change what we normally do on a normal free kick.

Peace

Why would the umpire have receivers? Shouldn't the HL have them?

We should have had the R and LJ underneath, U at around the 20, BJ with K and HL with R.

The U was moved in Illinois (and I believe in NF mechanics) a year ago. Other states might do something different.

Remember mechanics are local applications most of the time anyway. The NF cannot tell states what to do ultimately. So always check your local listings in things like this.

Peace

You're right. I misread the manual. We still have the umpire back around the 30, with the LJ and HL with the receivers. The BJ has the kickers.

Ohio does it different, we have R with the kicker, U & BJ under the uprights, L on K line and LJ on R line. Have NEVER used it and most likely never will...
