Ready For Play to Snap Time Interval
This same question is being discussed on another forum & I thought this group could add knowledge to the discussion.
Out of one of the other discussions on the other forum came a interpretation that the offense must wait for 1 second after the ready-for-play signal from "R" before they SNAP the ball. All I can find in the rules is that "A" must be set for a second before the SNAP & the SNAP must happen after the RFP. If waiting 1 second between the RFP to SNAP is a requirement, what is the penalty on "A" they don't' wait that 1 second? |
