It always amazed me that HS can have a 15/20 minute halftimes, college has 20 minute halftimes and the NFL has 12 minute halftimes. I think they should just scrap the new timing rules and just keep the clock running on first downs. I think we would get the same result in the time and plays reduced without all the confusion.
