Legal. Rule says player can dribble again after he loses control because of a pass or fumble which is touched by another player.
The reason he is passing it off B2 leg isn't relevant. imo

Supporting reference -(I just happened to be in my books at the moment.)

9-5-3 . . . A player shall not dribble a second time after his/her first dribble has ended, unless it is after he/she has lost control because of:
ART. 3 . . . A pass or fumble which has then touched, or been touched by, another player.
