If time had expired while the shot was in the air. Only legal trys into one's own basket can enter after the buzzer and be counted.

Yeah I knew that. I was confused and thinking he meant the example in the video could have been zero points. I think I am on the same page now.

The best part is that one of the announcers on the video thinks it's a 3-pointer because the player was "behind the line". I didn't know Billy Packer was on the Today Show.

For a small fee (small for television) I will be pleased to consult with Today reporters on any basketball rule issue. How early do I have to be there? Wait? I'm being told ... What time? 7:00 air time? A.M.? Never mind.
