This is the discussion I remember but I don't remember a resolution.

I was on the side of the argument that a tipped throw-in doesn't end the defensive exception.

seems to me like the case book needs about a half dozen more examples to clarify this rule..

Many Forum members are still scratching their heads about the two year old rule change regarding team control during a throw-in vis-à-vis backcourt violations.
