Given the block call, I agree that the shot should not have counted.

So, it appears the defense got screwed twice.

I am with Bob here. I have a TC foul after watching the replay and I definitely would have called that in real time. Even if you're going to call a block, you can't count the basket. The defense definitely got screwed twice.
