Given the block call, I agree that the shot should not have counted.

So, it appears the defense got screwed twice.

Not that it hasn't happened to me.

I am with Bob here. I have a TC foul after watching the replay and I definitely would have called that in real time. Even if you're going to call a block, you can't count the basket. The defense definitely got screwed twice.

It appears as he's not sure what he saw. He knows he has TC call but delays enough that he is wondering what happened sequentially but he knows he has to make another call. Definitely should have had some help on this one.

Not an easy one.

I'm surprised no one has commented on how out of position the Center is on this play! He's at the 28' line, and was there for the entire play... He actually moves away from the play as the offensive player makes her move to the basket.

I feel had he been at the FTLE, there would be more help on this play as he would have definitely had a better look at it rather than where he was (almost deeper than the Trail at the time of contact)!

FWIW, I'm OK with the block call here, but I can easily see why a lot of people would call a charge here. Honestly, 50/50 to me. The shot shouldn't count either way...

Surely you jest. This happened in an NCAA-Women's game?

To all ye who jest: yes, the C wasn't as low as he should have been but...exactly what help was he supposed to provide? There was a call made, albeit probably not the best call that could have been made, and the play neither originated nor ended in the C's primary.

If anything, the help call would have come from the T.

When the drive starts, there's a TN player from the far lane line who comes over to help./ By C stepping up he gets a better angls on that help. T is straightlined on this. I think the step was a good one by C.
