No coaching box today

I'm working my one subvarsity high school game of the season this morning. Looking back at previous year, I've done exactly one of these each of the last 4 years.

For me, the biggest challenge in these games is enforcing the seatbelt rule - the coaching box is reserved for varsity head coaches only here and a lot of officials are incredibly lax or ignorant of this rule when working lower level games.

Have no idea who my partner is. I know he'll show up dressed and probably just before tip. I'm very uncomfortable doing that, so I'll do my normal routine...

Bright side - the school is giving me varsity pay and I'll be done for the day by 11:15am.

I only have a dozen games left. Where did it go?

I saw that nonvarsity restriction when I got my papers in the mail. Hopefully finishing my test today.

Why is that restriction in place? Most of the JV games I watch, the coach might be sitting on his heels right in front of his chair, with no problems.

This season did go by quickly. I was done last week as I'm on call this week.
