Season ended for me last Friday. Time to get ready for spring football and then a camp or two in June. I'm hoping to break into some varsity ball next season.

I'm done for this season as neither team I scorekeep for made the playoffs! We just started sectional play last night-we crown 11 section champions with the follwing schedule:
Boys 1AA-3AAA:First Round 2/17,Second Round 2/21,Qtrs 2/24,Semis 2/28
Boys 3AA-6:First Round 2/15,Second Round 2/17,Qtrs 2/21,Semis 2/24
Girls 1AA-2A:First Round 2/18,Second Round 2/22,Qtrs 2/25,Semis 2/28
Girls 3AAA,3AA,3A,4AA,4A,5AA,6:First Round 2/16,Second Round 2/18,Qtrs 2/22,Semis 2/25

Sectional Finals are 2/29-3/3 with the state tournament being played on the follwing dates:
3/7-Regional First Round
3/10-Regional Second Round
3/13-Regional Third Round
3/17-Regional Finals
3/23 & 3/24-State Finals

Two more weeks. I'm working with our local board secretary/treasurer in my last game, a boys varsity game. I love working with the big boys, they have wide shoulders to carry me.

I did not work a second of rec ball this season and I'm quite glad that I did not. Didn't have to deal with a single crazy house rule, it was nice!

Regular season ended Monday. First round BV tomorrow night. My observer will dictate the rest of my February varsity schedule. Then an 8th grade boys diocese semi in March.
