1.) The coach WILL make sure the player has his shirt tucked in if the player is important enough.
2.) The player will make sure the shirt is tucked in if he values his playing time.
3.) The coach will just sit the player down for an extended period of time.

I hope (and would bet) that following the procedure would solve the problem, but if not and I have to send the same player off 5 times in the first half because he can't keep his clothes on that is going to get a T. I agree most players are smart enough to figure it out but if not....
