I make sure I say it loud enough by the table where the coach can hear that it is his fifth, then tell the player, then the coach gets his direct conversation and the player becomes bench personnel. Tell the table to start the 20 second timer. Horn at 5 sec, need sub. Horn at 20. Play on.
