what is the rational for not having the 10-second count for women? I had someone ask me that this past weekend and I didn't have an answer for him.

With the shorter shot clock anyone that can keep a team in the back court for 10+ seconds is going to have a definite advantage. I have no idea if that has anything to do with the lack of a 10 second rule.
