I heard the VHSL wanted all three in the center jump circle to police the "stay on your side of mid-court" rule

Never heard that one.

After introducing ourselves to coaches we all stand in front of the table for the anthem/intros. If players get in the circle we simply wave them over to their side of the court.

We don't use a 3 man system in most MA HS games (private schools do) until playoffs, but I would just be the last one out of the locker room and stand in the open spot that my partners aren't occupying!
