Mechanics Poll

Fun debate about mechanics from this weekend. I want to see if I'm the only one who fails.

3 man, where does U1 stand during pre-game?

Behind the R, holding his Gatorade.

Observing the home team's warmups. U2 handles visiting team.

Could not have been a debate amongst veteran officials.

Adam Mon Jan 30, 2012 03:20pm

So are you watching the team warming up or on the bench side? And if so, do you switch at half time?

U1 watches home team warm-up just like in two man. U2 gets visitors.

U1 observes the home team's warmup. U2 observes the visiting team's warmup. R scans the crowd for hot moms.:D

Pregame has nothing to do with what bench you're in front of.

I heard the VHSL wanted all three in the center jump circle to police the "stay on your side of mid-court" rule:confused:

Never heard that one.

After introducing ourselves to coaches we all stand in front of the table for the anthem/intros. If players get in the circle we simply wave them over to their side of the court.
