Why are you happy about this development? I get that people in her position may not be loved, but what difference does it make if she is not in this position or someone else is in this position?

Someone needs to explain why this is something to be happy or sad about either way. I did not see anything in her career with the NF that was so influential at least from the officiating side.

I suspect he's referring to the several poorly worded and/or off the wall interpretations and rule changes (including editorials) that have come about under her tenure as editor.

And I do get that, but this is a problem in other sports too. We have an interpreter in football that constantly says, "It takes the NF 3 years to get a rule right when they change it." Not sure she is alone in that criticism and I am not sure that would change if she is replaced.
