#13 USF was a tall lanky kid (freshman) on the bench.
Trail pointed right at him - whether it was "at him" or just the direction. HC asked who called it, but didn't press the issue.
I didn't see a player on the floor call TO, but coulda been verbal in the scrum.

Again, the official did not point at the player, he pointed at the bench because the player with the ball called for a timeout. There were players on the bench asking for one, but that is not the reason he gave one as the player with the ball was yelling for a timeout. I think you are getting too caught up in the point as I said before it is common to point at the bench when a timeout is granted by an official.

I mean how would it look if signaled at W30 calling a TO in front of BLUE's bench? I think the BLUE coach may have a slight coronary malfunction at that point!

Check the video. The kid your referrring to was #10, and yes he was was motioning for a time out while standing in front of the bench. HOWEVER, #13, on the floor with the ball yelled "time." Another player rushes in towards him, yelling , "No, No."

Watch as you see the coach ask: "who called time", and you will see the calling referee report #13 to the table, holding up one finger one hand and then three on the other.
