End of season game counts

Finished my 3rd season on Tuesday with a total of 71 games, 24V ( 1 playoff), 31 JV, 14 FR and 2 middle school.

How'd everyone else end up?

Haven't added them up, but I suspect I was between 40 & 50 again.

I am around 50-55 games I believe. Again the season is not over and I have not considered the post season.

Peace

I'm ready for a break

23 middle school
15 sub varsity
36 varsity
74 total games

3rd most in our association with the most being 80 games. I don't do any spring or summer sports so I have a nice break until football starts up.

It is not over yet, thank God! I think I might be depressed when it is all over.

Haven't had time to count but I suspect I'm close to if not over 100. I'll probably add another 50 to that by the time the club ball season wraps up.

In addition to the usual seasonal schedule, I did about a dozen charity type games, spread over three events this year. All were games where the local refs group agreed to help out. In one, we were helping ourselves since it was a tourney/fundraiser that helped finance the league that financed the fees for a season of ball.

My point isn't becoming a martyr, it's just to note that working charity/benefit things is becoming increasingly more fun; they are usually played in big gyms with three to four cross-court games, rotating shifts of officials, very few officials have an agenda, the sponsoring organization usually has a few teams entered so they show uncommon respect, they buy us coffee early and pizza after the games so we can sit and yak with guys from before and after our games and complain about kids rec league tournament coaches, gossip about assignors, compare notes on hot moms, and brag.

Right now I have exactly 100 games (including 8 upcoming).

52 rec league games (14 adult, 38 youth).
14 Junior High
34 High school (9th, "B", and JV)

No varsity yet, but I'm only a second-year basketball official.

Haven't received my rec league schedule yet for March, so I'll probably add another 15 or so games there.

A knee injury sustained towards the end of last season, ignored until summer, and finally engaged with surgery this January, has kept me off the court this year.
