1) You have to allow the abuse to get to their level.

2) If the big dogs put up with it, then the little dogs should too.

Pathetic. It appears as if the coaches and refs in the Maui tournament are not only sharing a room, but also a bed.
It appeared Tim Higgins was looking for an oxygen mask on every whistle, so I'll cut him some slack there.

Some of these old, old dogs can't even come close to keeping up and yet they're back season after season.

The only thing missing was a little dirt to kick on their shoes.
Coach Romar is usually pretty calm. But he is quite bright. When he feels that officials are being intimidated by an opposing coach who is being a tyrant, he will sometimes bark a little too so that the officials know that there are two coaches on the sidelines.

What Camron describes seems pretty different from your assessment.

This is true. However, Romar's outburst came after Calipari had gone on several rants - including the one where he was dropping f-bombs on the crew. That does not mean I condone Romar's actions, but maybe he thought he needed to get in their ear also??? I don't know...it just looks horrible and makes officials in general look bad.

The one time I saw Romar coach in person, earlier in the year in Pullman, he was pretty laid back.

Even so, if the refs are letting Izzo do it then Romar is just following suit.
