Well Legacy Emmanuel must be real busy cause of the weather.

How about since it's winter the essential winter weather kit in the vehicle?

How often have you seen this since the snow came?

Imagine - Portland hasn't had a high daily temperature below freezing in anytime in November in the past 25 years.

Oh yeah - it "snowed" during the night- about 1/4 inch. Here, they consider that a blizzard. Almost all evening school activities were canceled yesterday and today. If the weather stays like this for the next few months, I'm sure a lot of games will get canceled. When I tell my relatives back in Chicago about this stuff, they just laugh.

A 12"x 8" incline board for pre-game calf and heel stretching...fits nicely in the bottom of my bag.
A frozen water bottle for icing.
An ankle strap, along with two slip on neoprene knee supports...just in case.
Icy Hot in the roll on applicator.

It's nice to see people can carry on without me.

While Tanner does carry everything that's been listed so far (at least two of each, in fact), I don't. But, for some of the newbies, it should be pointed out these items are all personal preference, and based on what level they're working. I would think that someone starting out should, at the minimum, carry an extra shirt, pants, and whistle, as well as the rules for the level they're working. As they continue to progress, it will become apparent what else they might need.

One item that I carry that I didn't see mentioned was a court diagram. This can range from a copy of the court coverages out of the Official's manual, up to a magnetic board that has little magnets indicating officials and the ball. These can be very useful in pre-game to help go over areas of coverage and possible situations that may come up. It can also be used at half-time, or after the game, to go over specific plays.

I remember some varsity official who followed my game around my 2nd year or so and he dumped his bag of whistles on the desk in a panic searching for the right whistle. As he was pawing through the 20 or so whistles, one of his partners wondered how he would even know.

I'm in need of a new bag.

Anyone have a suggestion for an affordable but quality wheeled bag with multiple compartments? I've looked at Underarmour and Nike bags that are from $120 to $150 but would like to find something along those lines but a little cheaper.

Walmart has some wheeled bags in the $20-$40 range, but I can't vouch for the quality.
