I checked out the website and found a section on signals. The official in the video does at least two things that I found odd.

For a held ball he first stops the clock with an open hand and then follows with the held ball "thumbs up" signal. Here in our little corner of Connecticut we just give the "thumbs up" signal.

To call a technical foul he first stops the clock with an open hand, and then follows with the "T" signal. Here we stop the clock with the closed fist foul signal and then follow with the "T" signal.
