Ball lodged on rim
When the ball lodges between the rim and the backboard, the ball is put back into play using alternating possession unless a free throw or throw in follows.
So, I started thinking about the various scenarios. First of two free throws=shoot the second free throw. Final free throw=alternating possession. But....since the ball usually lodges on a try attempt, when would a throw-in follow? Some I came up with: A1 is shooter, A2 fouls B2. A1 is shooter, B2 fouls A2 before bonus is in effect. I had more the other day while working but now at the computer.... Rita |
