Take two aspirin (or another antiinflammatory medication if you can't take aspirin for some reason) before every game.
Buy a Step Stretcher, put in in your equipment bag, and use it before every game.

And above is exactly why he should see a doctor.

Getting advice for a medical problem from any unlicensed source is patently ridiculous. They're guessing and they don't have the medical knowledge to even give you an informed guess.

How can you treat an arch problem if you don't know that it IS an arch problem?

How do you know that it's a dehydration problem without doing the proper tests?

How do you know that aspirin won't either mask or exacerbate the problem?

How do you know that a step stretcher won't exacerbate the problem?

Silly monkey advice......

See someone who can identify the problem and then properly treat it.

What part of Jurassic Referee's quote "See a doctor" as part of my post did you not understand? The additional advice can be discussed with such a doctor. I was having a minor problem with my blood pressure and cholesterol. A friend, who is not a doctor, had similar problems, suggested fish oil. I took that advice to my family doctor, discussed it with him, he concurred with my friends advice, and now, taking two capsules a day, no more blood pressure or cholesterol problems.

The part where you gave out additional medical advice without being an internist, podiatrist, orthopedic specialist, etc. Nowhere in your post did you say "see a doctor" before doing any of that.

Didn't realize that I was offering advice in chronological order. I will fix it. And in case you haven't figured it out yet, I was agreeing with you, about seeing a doctor, by using your quote in my first post. My goodness, what would you do to me if I had disagreed with you? Ask me to turn in my license to not practice medicine?
