Pre-Game Warm-up Lap Illinois
After reading drshawnpets post I started to wonder about the practice of one team on the court and the other doing the pre-game lap, around the other teams basket.
Is there a penalty? I know there was a rules interp or POE on this a few years ago. I did a search and most of the answers were "check with you local Assoc." What is the common sense answer to stop this if I am on the court, prior to the game, observing warm ups? Try to stop-it, let it go? I am talking prelim. games bob j, JRut, tjones, or others what is the IHSA's POE/Intrep on this Thanks
