Not to hijack the thread, but what about this situation that I had during a scrimmage this year:
A1 is near the sideline and B1 has set up in LGP in front of him. A1 passes the ball and, to avoid a collision, runs around B1 out of bounds (their momentum was carrying them in that direction) then back onto the court. Same call (i.e., violation under 9-3-3)?
