Understand. My point was that I am relatively new to three-person mechanics and have a bit to work on to get where I need to/want to be.

Right I get that totally -- so what I'm saying (and I think you're getting hah) is don't overwhelm yourself trying to be perfect at everything every game.

One game focus on initiating rotations, next game focus on being aware of your partners rotations, next game really focus on what you're looking for in the lead position and what angles are working, next game really focus on the same for center, etc. IMO things come together a lot easier piece by piece instead of all at once having my brain explode lol.

I remember my first ...

It was an initiation some 29 years ago. My partner was also the association assignor and had been around the block a few times. In fact he retired the next year. He took me out on the floor and showd me where he could be found for the rest of the night, right a center court across from the table. I was told your a young man you will run baseline to baseline tonight.

It was a good thing it was a real easy game to officiate cus I was some tired at the end. He explained afterward they only do it that way once, and he knew the teams were ok with it.

I remember my first. A small school varsity double header; at my alma mater, 11 or 12 years after I graduated. Partner told me afterwards that I should get rid of my Fox Mini; I didn't even realize I had the mini.
