Arrow New forum?

After reviewing what's been on this board lately, I thought maybe we should suggest to Brad that he add a forum for table personnel. I can only imagine who the first poster would be.

Here's my best guess as to a post on that forum:

"What's with these referees? Every time I try to correct them about a call, they get upset with me. What - do they think they know the rules better than me? If I wasn't a rules expert, I wouldn't have been asked to run the clock. Geez. If they keep it up, I'll have to T them up. I know the rules allow me to do that."

Very interesting thinking, Mark.

As I stated before I don't question the officials about calls made unless I'm a fan, but I don't do the verbal abuse that coaches or other fans do. I'll question it to myself, however after viewing discussions on here I am thinking more like an official concerning calls & POV on the floor compared to from the stands or scorers table.

All table personnel can do is report what they saw/heard to the AD & let the AD make the final decision.

Had to Do It, Didn't You?

Thanks Mark. I was going to go to a baseball rules meeting tonight, but now, thanks to your post, I feel compelled to stay right here and monitor the reactions and responses to your suggestion as they come in throughout the evening.
This is gonna be fun.

The economic downturn ruined a really good joke.

That has very little to do with the prices on the book.

"I'm gonna tell the AD those referees did that."

Let me guess, your full time job is hall-monitor.

Dude GIGDGO or in other words STHU and work on stopping the clock correctly so I don't have to do it for you

Hmmm. Perhaps a selling point for officials to chip in and buy the Precision system.

I have no problems stopping the clock correctly.

What's a full time job in this economy?

I've mentioned this in other postings, that due to disabilities am unable to work

Only in severe situations would I report anything to the AD. I rather let bygones be bygones.

I think we need to have a forums that separate NCAA & FED. This way, no one is confused about the rules or discussion. JMHO.

Would that be the Ignore 'Em Forum?
