Players Look Up To Referee
Anyone see this posted over at basketrefs.com? In particular the first half of the article:
http://www.state-journal.com/news/article/4729490 Anyone have a problem with what was said? Does the particular level of the players dictate whether this practice is more/less acceptable?

What exact part are you talking about? I don't have a problem with any of it. Neat article. Sounds like a good guy with a good understanding of what sports are all about.

Maybe it was the way the article was worded but it could be looked at as saying the particular official calls more fouls, just to see everyone score. And the second part where it mentioned everyone knew a lane violation would be called if the kid missed the second free throw.
Like I said, it could just be poorly worded.
