My true life example of a Flagrant Personal Foul (FPF) occured in the late 1990's in a pool play game in an AAU Boys' 12U National Championship Tournament in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
A1 goes airborne to attempt a three-point field goal when B1 one comes out to cover A1 and punches A1 in what MTD, Jr. and his brother, Andy, refer to as the 'reserved parking space' while A1 is still airborne. A1's field goal attempt is successful and B1 is relegated to the bench for the rest of the game. MTD, Sr.
