My question is this: Why was the Trail watching the ball??? Shouldn't we ref the defense??

sounds like your partner kicked it on a few fronts-
1. Ignore dead ball contact unless intentional or flagrant 2. double fouls are resumed by POI- in this case the AP was POI 3. how the hell did team A get the ball back?
