Question Weirdest stat yet?

With the Portland Trailblazers win over Memphis on Tuesday night, they have now won 25 games in a row over teams from the four NBA cities that begin with the letter "M" - Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee and Minnesota (except that Minnesota isn't really a city). Their last loss to one of them was on March 29, 2007 against Memphis.

What's their record against teams from states that end in 'A'? You've really piqued my curiosity.

What's their record on days of the week that end in a "Y"?

I heard that Blazer owner Paul Allen is going to ask the league to move the Lakers back to Minneapolis.

Those are the only days of the week when I drink. Just those, not the others, too much alcohol can be bad for your health.

I sent this in to The Oregonian newspaper the other day as a letter to the editor and they printed it in this morning's paper.

Must be a slow news day.

And once their switchboard lights up with curious readers wanting confirmation, you should be sitting there in a lawn chair eating popcorn, laughing your arse off.

Just for you Mark.........

Portland has gone 6-2 in its last 8 games.

Both "book-end" losses are to a team from a city which starts with an "A" and ends in an "A."

That hasn't happened........since the last time it happened.

Why do I get the feeling this stat came out as there is a big hurrah about Sesame Street's 40th Anniversary? Is there a stuffed Big Bird on the bench in these games?

Arrow

After Saturday night's victory over Minnesota, it's now 27 in a row. Go figure.
