Weirdest stat yet?
With the Portland Trailblazers win over Memphis on Tuesday night, they have now won 25 games in a row over teams from the four NBA cities that begin with the letter "M" - Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee and Minnesota (except that Minnesota isn't really a city). Their last loss to one of them was on March 29, 2007 against Memphis.

And tonight, the Blazers beat Minnesota. Make that 26.
|
What's their record against teams from states that end in 'A'? You've really piqued my curiosity.

Or Months That End In "R" ???

I heard that Blazer owner Paul Allen is going to ask the league to move the Lakers back to Minneapolis. ;)

Just for you Mark.........
Portland has gone 6-2 in its last 8 games.
Both "book-end" losses are to a team from a city which starts with an "A" and ends in an "A." That hasn't happened........since the last time it happened. ;) |
Just for you Mark
From today's PTI.......
The Phoenix Suns have lost 16 games in a row televised on TNT........ |

Why do I get the feeling this stat came out as there is a big hurrah about Sesame Street's 40th Anniversary? Is there a stuffed Big Bird on the bench in these games?
|
After Saturday night's victory over Minnesota, it's now 27 in a row. Go figure.
