10 years and counting

Yesterday marked (no pun intended) my 10 year anniversary of posting on this site. I have over 9000 posts. I guess that indicates I need a life.

And another hint, OT doesn't stand for off topic), and I have laughed at 100% of your jokes. Please set a goal of ten more years, that is, assuming Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd, and Officiating.com, don't impose term limits.

Help me out for a second. I know that your listing says you did not sign up until 1999, but this site has been around a little longer than that if I recall. I remember that this site was shut down for some time and most posters had to resign up to get back on this site. Did that include you too? I know I was on this site well before 2001. I did not even live in the Chicago area when I started posting here (if I recall correctly).

I don't remember that chain of events. I'm pretty sure this one came online in August 99 and has been on ever since...excepting the name change they were forced to undergo.

McGriff's was one that had an on/off/on transition at one point, IIRC.

This is a correct statement. All of us that came here as the site previewed lost all of our posting history and had to sign back up. Most of our "start dates" are based on that re-registration process.
