I think that's why alot of schools are going to the fake stuff...sure it may be expensive, but there's not a ton of maintenance that goes in afterwards.

Actually field turf is much cheaper when you consider how long it lasts and what you do not have to worry about in maintenance like watering or soil and seeds to keep growing grass.

I think the main reason that soccer is played in two different seasons is mainly the fact you would not have that many officials to cover the sport adequately if both genders played at the same time. The same thing goes for volleyball. And not many schools play soccer in this state as compared to some other sports.

It makes perfect since to me.
