Have my first scrimmage this Saturday (BV). Our season doesn't kick off until the first week of December. Our association "requires" us to work 4 scrimmages and "prefers" that we do 6. If we do 6, we get an "excused absence" for an association meeting.

Good girls game. 2 time defending 4A state champions took one on the chin at home. Graduated a lot of great players.

Boys game....oh well, maybe Thursday's will be better!

Ours too. Fortunately, I have a college game Saturday.

Ouch.

Our first men's exhibition game was a 106-45 D-I vs. D-III game . . . Even still, I was flustered by the pace of the men's game.

Then, of course, we lost by 20 to Wake Forest last night . . .

Girls started last week. Boys start this week. All I have done so far is scrminages. I have a game scheduled next Tuesday but that doesn't mean I won't get a call about a game this week.

First games this weekend and I'm excited. Hope they are decent games, at least.

Too bad. You guys were pretty close for most of the game and it would have been quite a feather in your cap if you could have pulled off the upset.
