warm-up
the issue is mainly with NFHS they say not to warm up stand like a statue. but you can take some time to get lose prior to that and it will not be quite as bad.
with NCAA it is a little different with Men's someone has to be on the floor from I think it's the 15 minute mark as long as the teams are out there, so a couple of you can go back in an stretch a little and come back out, if you are nice you let the rookie get a couple of minutes to warm up also. However in both Mens and Women you are required to be there 90 minutes before the game so some of that time can be spent stretching and getting warm so that you only need a few minutes to revive that before the game starts. With the women, coming out at 15 and oing your admin stuff and then going back in gives you a couple of minutes to get some last minute stretching and warm up in before the toss goes up. If you get good and lose before you go out the 10 minutes of little to know movement should not cause you too much of a problem if you are really stretched out.
