this is pretty much how we call every game is it not?

This is what we do every game we set a tone and the players play to it. So why would you change that philosophy for any game?

Just making my case that perhaps during the FCP with a huge lead I no longer see the contact as incidental, that's all.

Here's how I do it.

If one team is clearly over matched, then they are likely less able to play through contact that could otherwise be incidental. If they can't play through it, it's more likely to be a foul.

But I'm not calling fouls for the sole purpose of teaching the winning coach a lesson.

That's well put Snags...and really what I am thinking with my ideals on this matter. Is there a slight sense of "Hey a-hole...you're up by 25-30 points and still pressing..." sure...

Perhaps, but I try to avoid this; it really is a bias and one should try to avoid those on the court.
