Not necessrily true...

Most officals in NBA would signal 7 ( would look also like 52) for the foul. Very rarely do they ever signal the 4 and then the 7.

While signalling "7" they would be verball indicating 47. NBA scorekeepers have a pretty good clue on what's going on out there and who the fouls are on...

You mean they're not teenagers, half watching the game, and half watching their friends in the stands, listening to their Ipods, or texting on their cell phones?
