UCLA team control foul
UCLA player gets stripped and fouls when trying to recover loose ball. No FT's awarded as ruling is team control. Crew got this right last night right? Team control is maintained in a loose ball situation until other team gains control, correct?

Although some Texas_Aggie fans disagree...

Did anyone see this? And if soo, I would like to hear what the veterans have to say about it. Thanks.

My Two Cents ...

The "Foul" photo? I'd like to see if there was any body contact below the frame of the photo. Can't say without more information. How many calls, and no calls, did the officials get right in this game? How many calls, or no calls, did they get wrong. How many mistakes were made by the players in the game? How many decisions were wrong by the coaches? I'll bet the ratio of correct calls to incorrect calls by the officials was a lot higher than the ratio of unforced mistakes by the players and coaches. Until you officiated a game of this magnitude, I wouldn't make a lot of comments on the officiating. What's that saying about "walking a mile in a man's shoes"? |

I love it when people show a snap shot and think that proves something. For one we have no idea what took place a second before or a second after the photo. For all we know a foul might have been called on the play. For all we know there was contact with the ball first. We have no idea. And this is why stupid fans always try to bring a photo but do not want to discuss anything that took place before or after the play.
Peace

We all know that what you see on the court doesn't always match up with what the camera shows. That's our goal - to get the calls right and have the video reflect that, but it unfortunately isn't always what happens. We don't have the angle from each of the official's views, so it's impossible for us to say what we would have done in that situation. However, the Aggies have no one one to blame but Kevin Love, who simply PWNED them in the final 4-5 minutes. |
