Team Control Foul
Guys,
Novice official here just wanting to make the right call. Team B is in the bonus. Player A1 has shot the ball and it has clearly left his hands. Player B2 has good rebounding position on A2. While the ball is in flight, A2 displaces B2to get that position. A2 has obviously committed a foul but I'm wondering if that is considered a team control foul (no free throws) or a personal foul (B2 shooting one and one on the other end). I'm thinking since team control ends when the ball is in flight, this would be considered a personal foul on A2 and we are shooting free throws. Thanks for your help. |

Good question, and you answered it yourself. If there's no team control, it can't be a team control foul. Go ahead and shoot the 1-and-1.
