Skull clapping
Another signal I've seen used by officials and myself is blow the whistle and lightly pat your head twice with an open palm. When you decide to make this call, try to lock into your head who has the ball and where the ball was when you blew your whistle. This is handy for later inbounding.

The official signal for this is Open hand goes up....(as you blow the whistle0
The clock stops and you take care of what you need to. Dont need a signal! Dont need to tap on chest... you are stopping play to fix it, fix it and move on |
