I've used it, and I've never had a problem with it.
It does take a lot of work to strip the old polish off the shoes, though. I switched to something else (Shape up?) this year -- and it's much easier to apply, but it doesn't look as good (imo) and doesn't last as long. I'll need to reapply it to the shoes soon (after about 1/2 season), while the LL shoes look as good as new after 2 seasons.
