How many of you have used this product? I'm sure a lot of you have.

What are some of the pro's and con's to using it?

I used to use it back in the day, I wouldnt use it at gunpoint now. Looks great at first and would remain that way if you didnt wear the shoe.

Starts to crack, peel etc after some use, that is my experience anyway.

With some much simulated leather being used these days, it's hard to find shoes that work well with it. You're better off buying a pair of patent leather shoes. They're great!!!!!

Thumbs up

It works great for me. Much better than Brylcreem. Oh wait - you mean for shoes! Never mind.

I've used it, and I've never had a problem with it.

It does take a lot of work to strip the old polish off the shoes, though.

I switched to something else (Shape up?) this year -- and it's much easier to apply, but it doesn't look as good (imo) and doesn't last as long. I'll need to reapply it to the shoes soon (after about 1/2 season), while the LL shoes look as good as new after 2 seasons.

The easiest thing I have found to get a good shine on your shoes is
buy the Lincoln Brand Shoe polish,
wipe lightly on shoes,
get a heat gun doing and go over the top orf the polish with it

You get a great shine in just a couple of minutes.

I second the Lincoln Polish recommendation - available at most military clothing sales or shoe repair shops. Used it for many yrs - soft, goes on easily, shines well. But, I imagine there are many other variables involved in which brand of polish works best with what brand of shoes.

I second this reply. I will never use this product again.
