Absolutely concur.

I also found it useful to concentrate on a FEW small things and get them right during the yr. This is the proper way to shoot, this is how you play defense, this is an inbounds play, here are two offensive plays, this is a walk, here is where you stand for foul shots - now go have fun!!

Basic stuff. I see too much "over-teaching" at this young age and the kids don't understand, become confused, and DON't have fun!

Ah, memories.......
