Cameron, I totally agree with your assessment...that's why I struggled calling it in the first place as I did feel as though I was being a bit inconsistant. However, it was literally about 15 seconds on this throw-in. I just didn't feel as though I could let that one go...I even encouraged the girls to get to the ball and throw it in...no response. I think next time I'll call it at first...and then get more lenient as the score permits...pre se.
 Junior High games are often times harder to officiate than JV and Varsity games...as I'm sure you all have experienced.
