well, duh!! He's gotta score above his average about half the time!

I know, not necessarily, but on the average, most players will play above their average about half the time... sheez...

yep you are right Juulie.....you know it would actually be pretty incredible to see a kid averaging 16.4 ppg to actually score right on his average wouldn't it LOL....

maybe the kid scores 16 points, and the other team steals the ball at half court goes the wrong way, and lays it in, and rather than make a footnote in the book, they actually divide the 2 pts evenly among the 5 players on the floor at the time....

I think the OP was suggesting that there are more guys doing nationally publicized games who normally don't. Except for last year of course.

Yesterday, I only had games on in the background and didn't get to pay much attention so I didn't catch any "verbal violations" but I will listen up as it's always fun to yell at the TV and pretend the announcers can hear me.
