Whew.

ESPN analysts were thinking Purdue was in while IL was out, but both made it. And IL gets WV first, so it might be one and done.

Dan - I prefer sesame. Great on breadsticks.

No Missouri State, Air Force, or West Virginia.

Only six at-large bids for the mid-major conferences. The lowest in the past five years.

I'm a big MO State fan, but they just didn't deserve it this year. All they could point to was an early win over Wisconsin and they made it through round one of the MVC tournament. They had higher RPI and SOS numbers last year and didn't get the call either (though they got bounced in the first round of the MVC tournament in 06).

Still, plenty of good action to see this weekend...a few of the 8/9 match-ups look tough!

Stanford over both Drexel and Syracuse??? No way....maybe the committee was concerned about "East Coast Bias?"

I know. It changed it earlier when I figured out I misunderstood the ESPN guys. Flipping back and forth.

You mean VT as in Virginia Tech.

I'm surprised that Maryland got a 4-seed. That seems pretty high. They didn't finish real strong, did they?

Not unless you consider losing to last place Miami in the first round of the conference tourney strong.

Lunardi picks 63 of 65 in the field and 55 of the 65 seeds within one.

He had Drexel and Syracuse in.

You have heard of Bracketology by Joe Lunardi on ESPN, right?
